Day 7 |
GOD'S COINCIDENCES |

|
"... who knowest whether thou art come to the kingdom for such a time as this?" Esther 4:14 |
|
Samuel was in the right place at the right time because he had the right attitude toward God. He led Israel back to God and was recognised even when young as God's man (1 Sam. 3:19,21). Sharon had been married for a little more than a year and she had a six week old baby son. She was happy but lonely. She had moved to a new town when she got married and longed for the support of her family and friends. She was a Christian and gave her problem to the Lord. One day soon after, she was going out with her son. She had been delayed and was much later than she had planned. As she left the house she met another mother walking with her young son. They began to chat, exchanged telephone numbers, and from there a friendship grew. Not only that but spending time with her new friend, Mary, Sharon got to know a great many other people as well. Much later on when Sharon and Mary were remembering that day Mary commented, "It's odd your leaving late that day because I had intended going another way and just found myself on your road instead. You see, it was meant to be." A simple coincidence. Or was it? |

"There is no limit to the usefulness of one who putting self
aside makes room for the Holy Spirit upon his heart and lives
a life wholly consecrated to God." E.G. White, Ministry of
Healing p159.
God not only places his servants where they can serve him, but also where they can benefit. Read Jesus' 'chance' meeting with a woman at a well John 4 and how he walked up to a tree to change a man's life (Luke 19:1-9). |

Thank you Lord for always being here for me. Help me to be ready when you call. |
